| <p><p>LeBron James has a message for the Cleveland fans.</p>
<p>"Buckle your seatbelts," he said recently. "It's going to be a long ride. We're working on the road to a championship."</p>
<p>The Cavaliers have one collective goal: winning an NBA championship. James said anything short of a title will be a disappointment.</p>
<p>"We came close," James said. "I got a little taste of it when we won the Eastern Conference championship (in 2007). I need more and the fans need more. They deserve it."</p>
<p>The addition of guard Mo Williams has sent a lightning bolt through the fan base and the organization. Finally, many think James has his sidekick.</p>
<p>"I guarantee if you talk to everyone today, their goal is to win a championship," Williams said. |

LeBron James keeps his Olympic gold medal in his home office, and from time to time Cleveland's star takes a peek at it. "It's a pretty sight," he said. James spent part of his summer helping the U.S. basketball team redeem its global superiority by winning it all at the Beijing Games. At just 23, he was the undisputed leader of that 12-player squad comprised of superstar talents and supersized egos.
